ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ.ਨਗਰ/SANGHOL-TIMES/JAGMEET SINGH/13 ਅਗਸਤ,2024 : ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ: ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਐੱਚ.ਆਈ.ਵੀ./ਏਡਜ਼ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵੀ ਇਲਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹਰੇਕ ਸੰਕਰਮਿਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਐਂਟੀ-ਰੇਟਰੋ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਥੈਰੇਪੀ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਲਈ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਆਰੰਭ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅੱਜ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆਨ ਜੋਤੀ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ (ਜੀ.ਜੇ.ਆਈ.ਐਮ.ਟੀ.) ਤੋਂ ਏਕੀਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਾਉਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦੀ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਵੈਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵੈਨ ਰਾਜ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਐੱਚਆਈਵੀ/ਏਡਜ਼ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਟੈਸਟ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਆਈ.ਸੀ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਏਡਜ਼ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਏਡਜ਼ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਆਰਗੇਨਾਈਜ਼ੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਐਚ.ਆਈ.ਵੀ./ਏਡਜ਼ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਚ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਔਸਤ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੈਸਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਰ ਵੱਧ ਹੈ। ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਐਚਆਈਵੀ, ਹੈਪੇਟਾਈਟਸ ਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੀ, ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਚਾਰਿਤ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਪਦਿਕ ਦੇ ਫੈਲਣ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਰਾਜ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਪੀੜਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਚ ਬੰਦ ਹਵਾਲਾਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ 100 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ 10 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਵੈਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਕੋਨੇ-ਕੋਨੇ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਐਚ.ਆਈ.ਵੀ./ਏਡਜ਼ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਸੈਂਪਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਏਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਈ ਈ ਸੀ (ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ) ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨੁੱਕੜ ਨਾਟਕ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਜੋਤੀ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਤੋਂ ਏਡਜ਼/ਐਚਆਈਵੀ ਦੀ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਨ ਮੈਰਾਥਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ: ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ, ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਨ ਮੈਰਾਥਨ ਉਲੀਕੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬੇ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਲਗਭਗ 700 ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ 6337 ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਐੱਚ.ਆਈ.ਵੀ./ਏਡਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਉਮਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਇਹ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਯੁਵਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਨ ਮੈਰਾਥਨ ਦੇ 200 ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮ ਵੀ ਵੰਡੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਸ਼ਨਵੀਰ ਕੌਰ (ਪਹਿਲਾ), ਬਬੀਤਾ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ (ਦੂਜਾ) ਅਤੇ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ (ਤੀਸਰਾ) ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਮੁਕੇਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਣਾ (ਪਹਿਲਾ), ਉੱਤਮ ਕੁਮਾਰ (ਦੂਜਾ) ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ (ਤੀਜਾ) ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸਿਹਤ-ਕਮ-ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਏਡਜ਼ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡਾ. ਰਮਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦੀਪਾਂਕਰ ਗਰਗ, ਵਧੀਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਏ.ਸੀ.ਐਸ ਡਾ. ਬੌਬੀ ਗੁਲਾਟੀ, ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨ ਡਾ. ਗਿਰੀਸ਼ ਡੋਗਰਾ, ਸਹਾਇਕ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਯੁਵਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਡਾ. ਮਲਕੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ, ਗਿਆਨ ਜੋਤੀ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਜੇ.ਐਸ. ਬੇਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡਾ. ਅਨੀਤ ਬੇਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

SAS Nagar/SANGHOL-TIMES/August 13: Amidst the ongoing campaign to make Punjab hale and healthy state as per directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh intensifying the fight against HIV/AIDS on Tuesday launched an extensive campaign for testing and awareness to reach out to every infected person to put them on Anti-retro Viral Therapy to ensure effective treatment. Launching an Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre mobile van from Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) in Mohali, today, the Minister said that the Van would help conduct tests to rule out the possibility of HIV/AIDS across the state along with the existing ICTC working in every district of Punjab. He said that all the activities by the Punjab State AIDS Control Society are being done in coordination with the National AIDS Control Organisation. Emphasizing the critical importance of continuous education and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS, Dr Balbir Singh the Punjab has a higher number than the National average because the rate of testing is higher in the state. A unique initiative was undertaken by the state in close settings (Jails etc.) to check the spread of HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Sexual Transmitted Diseases and Tuberculosis in the previous year has proved helpful in putting effective persons on treatment, said the Health Minister by adding that 100 per cent of testing was done during the special campaign run in the Punjab Prisons. The Health Minister said that the intensified campaign launched today will continue till October 10 and the testing van would reach every nook and corner to educate and aware masses, besides providing facility of free sampling to check HIV/AIDS. Apart from that, IEC material will also be given to the people to keep them aware of these sexually transmitted diseases. Street Plays will also be conducted to make the people sensitise to these diseases, he said. Earlier, flagging off Red Run Marathon from the Gian Jyoti Institute to spread the message of prevention of AIDS/HIV awareness, the Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh said that Bathinda, Ferozepur, Jalandhar and Gurdaspur would also have such Red Run Marathons to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS. He said that about 700 Colleges and 6337 Schools across the state have Red Ribbon Clubs to sensitise the students to HIV/AIDS and growth during adolescent age. These Red Ribbon clubs are being run with the help of the Youth Services Department of Punjab. Health Minister also distributed the prizes to the winners among the 200 participants of the Red Run Marathon including girl students Shanvir Kaur (First), Babita Kumari (Second) and Manpreet Kaur (Third) and Male students Mukesh Singh Rana (First), Uttam Kumar (Second) and Vikas (Third). The prominent others present there included Special Secretary Health-cum-Project Director, Punjab State AIDS Control Society Varinder Kumar Sharma, Director Family Welfare Punjab Dr Raman Sharma, SDM Mohali Sh.
