Tata Trust’s new chairman Noel Tata owns billions of assets

Ratan Tata’s cousin brother Noel Tata once missed out on becoming the chairman of Tata Sons. However, this time he was chosen as Ratan Tata’s successor and has become the new chairman of Tata Trust. He has made Tata Group known all over the world with his hard work. His net worth is estimated to be around 1.5 billion dollars (Rs 12,455 crore).
Noel Tata is the son-in-law of Palanji Mistry.
After being elected as the chairman of Tata Trust, Noel Tata, who was the chairman of Tata Torrent and Tata International, said that I feel very honored. I have been entrusted with a great responsibility. We have to carry forward the tradition and honor of the late Ratan Tata and the Tata Group with full responsibility. Tata Trust has been doing great work in the service of society for more than 100 years. We will be engaged in this work with great enthusiasm in the coming time as well. In 2003, he was inducted into the boards of Titan Industries and Voltas. But, in 2011, the reins of Tata Sons were handed over to Cyrus Mistry, brother of his wife Aloo Mistry, who was ousted in 2016 and Ratan Tata again became the interim chairman. Amidst these events, Noel Tata remained quietly engaged in his work. They kept getting new responsibilities.
Noel Tata was born in 1957. He had proved his business acumen. He was always considered as Ratan Tata’s successor. Noel Tata, son of Naval Tata and Simone Tata, studied at the University of Sussex, UK. After this he studied from the prestigious business school in France. Because of this he was given the responsibility of Tata International. In June 1999, he was appointed MD of the Tata Group’s retail company Torrent, which runs a successful business under the name Westside.
Their net worth is around $1.5 billion Noel Tata and Allo Mistry have three children. Their names are Maya, Neville and Leah.
